Description

Dermal Source’s Premium Pro Plus is a cream-based topical anesthetic in a 7/8 oz jar, for use before a pain sensitive procedure. This pre-deadener was originally developed by a pharmacists familiar with our industries and has been used successfully for decades. This recent revision has improved its speed and depth of anesthesia. This cream has a pH of 7 and is safe for eyeliner.

For use by licensed professionals only.

Uses:

External Use Only on Intact Skin. Temporarily relieves pain due to tattooing or other pain sensitive procedures.

Active Ingredients:

Lidocaine HCI 4% (Topical Anesthetic)

Tetracaine HCI 1% (Topical Anesthetic)

Inactive Ingredients:

Purified Water, Glycerol Monostearate, Petrolatum, Stearic Acid, Cetyl Alcohol, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Triethanolamine, PEG 100 Stearate, Propyl Paraben, Methyl Paraben, and BHT.

Other Information:

Discard by expiration date. Store in cool, dark place.

Warnings:

  • Keep out of children’s reach.
  • Keep out of eyes and mouth. In case of accidental contact with eyes, rinse immediately with copious amounts of eyewash. Seek care by an eye care physician. If accidentally swallowed, get medical help immediately.
  • Do not use If you have a history of severe liver disease or impairment.
  • Do not use if you have a known allergy or sensitivity to any of the components of this product. If sensitivity occurs, discontinue use and seek medical attention as needed. If condition worsens or does not improve in seven days, or clears up and occurs again within a few days, discontinue use of this product and consult a doctor. Do not use in large quantities, particularly over raw surfaces or blistered areas.
  • Do not use if pregnant or nursing.

  • Apply sparingly to affected area for 15-30 minutes or until anesthetic effect occurs.
  • Remove and cleanse skin.
  • Repeat as needed up to three times a day.

Eyebrows

For best results, lightly exfoliate prior to application. Gently massage into skin and then apply a medium coating over the top. Cover with a plastic (occlusive) dressing. Wait 15 – 20 minutes. Wipe away immediately prior to tattooing with Superior Super Juice or Five-Star Vasocaine.

Eyeliner

Fill the eyes with eye gel to coat the cornea. With the client’s eyes closed, apply a thin layer of cream with a Q-tip applicator across the lash line.  Wait 15 – 20 minutes. Remove anesthetic with a cold wet cotton ball before beginning your procedure. Following the first pass, apply Maximum Zone 2 or New and Improved Blue Gel to control swelling and maintain anesthesia for two hours.

Lips

For best results, lightly exfoliate prior to application. Gently massage into skin and then apply a medium coating over the top. Cover with a plastic (occlusive) dressing. Wait 15 – 20 minutes. Wipe away immediately prior to tattooing with Superior Super Juice or Five-Star Vasocaine. Reapply Superior Super Juice during the procedure to continue anesthesia, or Five-Star Vasocaine, New and Improved Blue Gel or Maximum Zone 2 to continue anesthesia and constrict blood vessels.

Body Skin

Prior to procedure, lightly exfoliate, massage into the skin and then apply a medium coating over the top. To prevent absorption into clothing and retain effective anesthesia, cover with an occlusive dressing. Thicker skin requires longer time to absorb the cream than thinner skin. Wait 90 – 120 minutes. Use Superior Super Juice during procedures to continue anesthesia, or New and Improved Blue Gel, Five-Star Vasocaine or Maximum Zone 2 to continue anesthesia and constrict blood vessels.

Piercing

Apply to eyebrows, navel and nipples. Avoid genital areas. Thicker skin requires longer pre-treating time. Lightly exfoliate. Gently massage into skin, then apply a medium coating on top. Cover with occlusive dressing. Wait 15 – 20 minutes. Wipe away immediately prior to piercing. Use New and Improved Blue Gel or Maximum Zone 2 during jewelry insertion to continue anesthesia and reduce swelling.
