Description
Using precise mechanical engineering methods, 192 individual high medical grade steel micro-points, .025 mm in length, are attached to a polymer roller on a convenient handle. Unlike previous models, this Derm Ease G2 Roller can be sterilized with autoclave heat for the ultimate in cross-contamination safety.
The underlying concept of the Derm Ease G2 Roller is that the multiple needles create a micro-inflammation of the dermis while passing through, doing minimal damage to the epidermis. Consequently, the epidermis remains intact while the tiny micro-holes created by the roller allow topicals to penetrate into the dermis. This cuts anesthetic set-up time down to minutes.
Whether using the Derm Ease G2 Roller for the application of topical anesthetics or to aid in the penetration of other topical creams and ointments, new collagen and elastin production is induced, an intrinsic property of all healthy skin.
Simple instructions:
- Cross-hatch (up & down then back & forth) roll the entire procedure area on clean, exfoliated skin.
- Apply a During procedure anesthetic – we recommend Blue Gel.
- Cover with plastic and wait 10 minutes.
- Remove plastic and wipe off anesthetic.
- Start your procedure.
Do NOT use the roller for eye procedures.
